System Works LLC was started by two professional network administrators. Chuck Warren and Steve Stancill recognized the need for honest affordable technology solutions and support for the small business owner.

Changes in technology have saved big companies throughout the world billions of dollars through improved efficiency and productivity. These big companies employ network administrators along with support and development staff members to help keep employees productive and the business profitable. This means all decisions relating to technology are made by the technology experts.

For most small business owners, it is not cost effective to hire full-time or part-time technology staff. This leaves small business owners on their own to choose a consultant that can help to meet the small business owner’s needs. Too often small businesses are presented with costly solutions to simple problems, instead of products and services that fit their budget and fill their needs.

Currently there are a wide variety of affordable hardware and software solutions available today. Unfortunately many small business owners are paying for services and products that they don’t need, such as expensive network servers. One small business owner recently paid over $6000.00 for a custom built server, along with networking hardware and software. This could easily have been completed for a third of the cost, however the customer was talked into buying equipment and services that they knew nothing about. Many customers are then reliant on the IT service provider for ongoing maintenance and support as well. This can increase the costs of owning their computers and equipment drastically.

At System Works, we believe in providing a solution that fits both the needs and the budget of a small business. Our experience with open source products such as Linux allow us to present less expensive and equally effective (and sometimes more reliable) solutions along with the more widely recognized products by companies such as Microsoft. By spending time with our clients to discover what they really want to accomplish, we work to find the right products and service for their business needs. Our goal is to provide the best result, not the most expensive.
